Pimples and acne are the common issue for almost everyone. Those who don’t get them or have never got any are lucky enough though!
The problem is really serious, obviously, its our face that we are the most conscious about, followed by our hairs. A single mark on the face and it automatically becomes one of the bad days of ours.
We do have solutions for that as well, of course. Medical science, Ayurveda everything has given up their best to give solutions for treatment of acne and pimples.
But why not curing it even before its started. I mean, not letting it happen even. PRECAUTION is what I mean. Apart from the regular cleansing, scrubbing, moisturizing, toning and regular clean up habits this is what we can do.
- Avoid oily food.
Yes, we all have known this since forever, but have always taken for granted.
Oily food, junk food, actually induces acne. The extra oil gets deposited in the internal layers of our skin, blocking the breathing passage for the cells, hence causing breakouts.
So if you are actually bothered about breakouts, then oily food is a big No No.
- Keep you head dandruff free.
Dermatologists say that its the dandruff fall in our face, that first makes the skin oily and then results to breakouts.
Use good dandruff removing shampoos, keep your scalp dust free and avoid too much exposure to sun. In this way you can get both a dandruff free head and acne free skin.
- Change your pillow cover regularly.
Most of the time, although we don’t realize it, but it is the pillow case which has the largest amount of pimple and acne inducing substances. May it be dirt from the environment, dust and dandruff from the hair, or something else, the pillow case has max of it. Hence, changing it in every 4 to 5 days is a must.
- Stop touching your face too much.
It’s a regular habit of most of us to keep touching our face. But, to my remark, it is a bad habit. Not bad in the general sense, but it is bad when it comes to the skin problem point of view. Our hands too have too much dirt, and especially oil, that stick to our face when we keep touching it. These, further results in breakouts.
So, stop fussing with your face.
- Tie your hair while sleeping.
Again, even our hairs have oil, the natural ones which our scalp releases, and also dirt particles sticked to it. Its a necessary thing to tie up your hair, not letting it to fall on ur face, especially forehead. This habit is also a precaution for pimples and acne.
- Get good sleep
Stress is yet another reason for breakouts. Always make sure to get a sleep of 6-7 hours a day in order to avoid the skin problems.
Finally, drink plenty of water, wash your face regularly before sleeping, eat well, drink well, sleep well, and stay pimple and acne free.
